The reservoir performance analysis software (DASS Ver1.1) is based on the microcomputer Windows95/98 operating environment and is programmed with Visual C 6 language. The data needed by the software is directly from the oil field database. Users can browse, edit and output the data obtained from the database easily in the software, and the data in the table can be copied with the data in the Microsoft Excel. Drawing curves, graphics users can set their own adjustment. The software has a good user interface, simple operation, convenient, and the graphics can be outputted at will. It is easy for reservoir engineers to analyze.
         In the software of reservoir performance analysis, the dynamic analysis of reservoir is mainly carried out from two aspects: single well and block. It is based on the pretreatment of oil field database, which is based on the transfer of drilling geological information base, single well basic information base, single well small layer database, and so on. The data of oil production well monthly database and water injection well monthly database form the data needed for reservoir performance analysis, and carry on the split production calculation of production data. The users can adjust, modify, input and output the cleavage results. The analysis of single well mainly from the single well development status analysis, single well potential analysis, single well production prediction and production economic limit, so that users can use a more intuitive form. The development performance, potential and future production change of each single well are analyzed and decision-making is made. This paper analyzes and evaluates the development status, water-cut variation rule, development effect evaluation, development index prediction, reasonable well pattern density, recoverable reserves and so on.

         In addition, the contour diagram in the software can be displayed by interpolation, the comprehensive development curves of single well and block used for calculation and analysis, the corresponding curve of injection and production, the relation curve of water cut and water cut up rate with the recovery degree, all kinds of water drive curves, etc. The prediction curve of production decline, the curve of water storage rate, the curve of relation between index of dimensionless oil recovery and production fluid and water cut, the curve of relation between sweep volume and recovery degree, as well as the graph of various development current situation charts can be set up and adjusted by users.
